GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE CHATEAU 

This walled country estate is located about 50 km (31 miles) northeast of Paris.
It is easily accessible by train from Paris (40 minutes), by bus from the International Airport Charles de Gaulle, and of course by car from all directions. If required the caretaker will pick you up at the airport or at the nearby railway station.
The property consists of 16 hectares ( 40 acres ) of park-like landscaped grounds with a Chateau dating from the late 19th century and a number of out-buildings consisting of an Orangerie, a large greenhouse an orchard, and a Courtyard dating from the 17th century.
A caretaker couple lives in a separate house on the grounds. 
Next to the Courtyard, there is also a huge dovecote and a small, partly subterranean, prison.
In 1998 the castle and its outbuildings were converted into comfortable apartments.
On the grounds, there are many other features such as a tennis court and a heated swimming pool, which is open for a swim from April till the end of September.

The apartment itself is situated in the right wing of the chateau,  renovated,

high ceilings, substantial moldings, original marble fireplaces, tapestries in

grand salon, original bathtub, lovely views of the pond, lawns and gardens.

Entry floor:  Private entry into entry hall.  Open grand salon and dining room - beautiful grand marble working fireplace with original clock built-in, kitchen, small toilet with sink, outside terrace overlooking the gardens.

First floor:  Entre-sol (halfway up to the first floor is a small room).  Large master bedroom with crystal chandelier and original beautiful crown moldings and fireplace with built-in mirror above, bathroom with tub & shower, 2nd large bedroom with  crown molding and open fireplace with large mirror         above.  

Third floor:  toilet and sink, small shower and sink, 3rd bedroom with moldings and marble fireplace, lovely front of chateau view.
